Saddle up sapphics and letās go lesbians,Ā SAPPHIC DISCOĀ is backĀ at a new and improved venue and you're in for a TREAT!Ā
VERDICT upstairs at The Court (accessible by lift) has double the capacity of our previous venue meaning more room to party, comfy plush seating where you can sit and relax and chat whenĀ you don't feel like dancing, a bigger stage for our acts and a shiny lighting rig,Ā privateĀ dedicated bathrooms for Sapphic Disco (no more sharing with other events!), and our own dedicated rooftop deck! Sapphic Disco will now be fully contained in its own space with its own separate entrance, meaning we can keep the space safer than ever before.Ā
We will also have a very special relaunch line up including some interstate icons... stay tuned on our Instagram for news on that! You know the score, this event sells out the club every time, so don't wait!
Pop up tiny flash tattoos withĀ Upbeat Ink have become a staple of our event and we're happy to say they'll be continuing!Ā FREE TINY TATTOOS 9:30PM - 10:30PMĀ (paid thereafter).Ā
Clip on your carabiner and jump in your u-haul* itās time to party at Verdict Upstairs at The Court! This is a silly, fun, camp, tongue-in-cheek,Ā sapphic-focusedĀ party for queer folks from all walks of life!Ā Weāre here to have a silly fun time, have a dance and enjoy each otherās company. We want this to be a welcoming, inclusive, warm, non-judgmental space for sapphics and their queer friends to socialise and party.Ā
Letās celebrate the sapphics with DJs, live performances, free lollipops, candy necklaces and bubble wands, cocktail specials, and lots of space to chill and chat at Verdict upstairs at The Court!
Each of our rotating line up ofĀ DJs has their own unique style, but expect sapphic bangers, queer anthems, uplifting and upbeat music.
Sapphic Disco would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land we hold this event on, the Whadjuk Noongar people, and pay respect to elders past and present. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.

š© IMPORTANT STUFF š©
This is a sapphic focused party for queer folks from all walks of life, and all those under the queer umbrella are welcome.
We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy on harassment, hate speech, racism, non-consensual touching, and any other behaviour that makes folks uncomfortable. If at any time you feel unsafe, please let a member of staff at Verdict (The Court) know. Anyone behaving in an unsafe manner will be evicted from the event.
A note on consent: anything but an enthusiastic verbalĀ YESĀ is not consent. Remember to ASK FOR CONSENT before you touch someone in any way at all.Ā
A note for straight and/or cisgender or cisgender presenting men: Please understand that this event is primarily a space for sapphic-identifying, trans and gender nonconforming people, and that keeping this space feeling safe and welcoming for who it was created for is our number one priority. Please consider carefully whether you should take up space here, and understand that no matter how good your intentions are, your presence could feel threatening to our community.
If youāre planning on coming down and partying with us, please wear something that obviously identifies you as a safe person e.g. a Pride or Ally pin or badge, rainbow coloured or colourful attire, etc. Be warm, friendly, kind, courteous, open minded and willing to chat to our event organisers. Be respectful at all times, and understand that this is an event for marginalised people.Ā
Upon entry, please be prepared for event staff to check in with you to ensure you are a safe person. With your help, we can keep this space feeling welcoming and safe for people who often don't feel welcomed or safe elsewhere.Ā
